(Sex) Magic for Dummies

Story by ZeHell-ScythefanToo

Slight U18 warning for the beginning - an underage character masturbates, if that offends anyone. I don't feel the need to tag for that otherwise.

I started two shorts before this story, and it ended up being the winner for me - I love the way it turned out. Took me six days to write out and finish, and the epilogue was the hardest part to decide. Funny how I can think about what I want to write as my foreword all day and then forget it when I actually get back to my posting computer again.

It originally started off inspired in concept by Milkmaniac's Book of Spells (which is honestly a bit lackluster story-wise but worth reading for the erotica, and damn is it an old story), but I honestly believe now that it seems more like the kind of story Tōsaku no Kishi would do. It's not strictly intended as a homage, but that's how I can't stop thinking about it now, so there you go.

Oh, and one more thing: I apologize to anyone who previously opened any of my stories on my site's reader and had the text cut off prematurely. Finally figured out that the webserver was not waiting around for the running script and slapped its wrist, so the issue is (hopefully) officially fixed. Sorry for not noticing earlier - now you can enjoy the mobile-friendly site reader again to your heart's content!

Good old Saturday. Every time I woke up on the first day of the weekend, I always presumed them to be do-nothing days. Usually they are, and I enjoy lounging around in a t-shirt and shorts (socks optional, shorts sometimes optional if it's hot) for a whole day after a rigorous week of schoolwork - there's nothing like a whole day dedicated to being lazy. Then there are Saturdays that surprise me, like Mom and Dad suddenly announcing a trip or a get-together or an important family event. Today was one of those Saturdays, except my parents weren't involved. I didn't know how crazy it would get until I answered the knock at the front door.

Standing behind the door was my best friend Sandi. I looked my best friend up and down to find that she was mostly herself, except for a few things that bugged me. Thing number one: she looked wiser somehow, like she'd gone on a pilgrimage and come back with super important knowledge for witch doctoring the cure for cancer - or maybe just a few fatal yet carefully survivable spider bites. Thing number two: she seemed fuller, somehow - her clothes either fit her well or seemed too tight, and her proportions appeared more refined even through her blouse and sweatpants. Thing number three: remember I mentioned some kind of pilgrimage? The fact that Sandi was standing here was weird itself. I hadn't seen her for a whole week at school and now she showed up right at my front door like nothing happened. Talk about awkward.

"Hey, Kora!" Sandi greeted me cheerfully, receiving no response. Both of us stood there blinking at one another, melting Sandi's grin and urging her to greet me harder. "Uh, hello? Earth to Kora? You in there?" Sandi waved her hand in front of my face, and I realized I'd been staring too long. It was weird, how I realized then I'd been in some kind of spell, but I also realized why - this new Sandi who might not have been Sandi had a strange allure to her, and I couldn't help myself. I blushed - I'd never thought anything like it about other girls. "Are you on the same planet? Are you in the same galaxy, even?"

"I'm standing right here, you know," I justified loudly, trying to hide my face and my embarrassment for doing that to my friend. Once I remembered I was actually miffed at her, I showed her my face again with sternness written all over it. "And what about you? I haven't seen or heard from you since last Saturday and now here you are! What gives, Sandi? Where were you?"

Sandi frowned, receding in posture. Did I ask that too strongly? Now I felt bad. "Can I come in, at least?" She asked. I readily agreed and stepped out of my friend's way, bringing the door back to closed behind her as she glanced around the house. I'm not sure what she was expecting to find. "I'm sorry if I worried you. That's actually one of the things I came to talk to you about today, why I was gone," Sandi turned to me, explaining herself with complete earnesty. Geez, if it was that serious... "We should talk about it in your room. Wanna?"

"My best friend disappears into thin air for one whole week and I don't feel even a little dust speck of curiosity over why. Of course I wanna, you dope," I threw my hands u
