2017 FP Fan-Fiction Contest (Interest Check, Discussion, Archive)

Hello there!

This thread will serve as an interest check, general discussion, and submission archive for the 2017 FP Fan-Fiction Contest, a community event also known as the 4th Annual FP Fan-Fiction Contest. If you're interested in entering the contest -- feel free to make your declaration here. If you want to discuss contest and format guidelines, ask questions, discuss past or present contest entries, suggest new rules or rule changes -- please do so in this thread. If you have a submission ready, you're welcome to post it in this thread at any time before the July 1st deadline.

The guidelines below reflect the rules of contests past. I've shortened, reworded, or omitted some guidelines in the interest of brevity. Specifically, I've eliminated the guidelines concerning Crossover fan-fiction* (which is still allowed), Futanari content* (entrants are going to write herm fiction anyway), author anonymity* (originally a statement clarifying its omission from the contest), prizes (originally a statement mentioning there would be no prizes, but the winner and other entrants will be awarded for victory and participation respectively), and story commentary (which is still encouraged, appreciated, and allowed).

*The inclusion or exclusion of the aforementioned rulings are up for debate. In fact, ALL of the contest guidelines are up for debate. Hell, this doesn't even have to be a fan-fiction contest if enough users don't want it to be. The suggestion of different themes for this contest is allowed and encouraged. However, if there are no objections or strong arguments, this event will continue to serve as a showcase for fan-fiction. In short -- nothing is true, everything is permitted.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

- All stories must either contain characters or settings created by someone else. The stories can be either fanfictions of widely known properties such as Harry Potter, Evangelion, Dirty Harry (to name a few) or creations of fellow FP writers such as stories set in the Dryden universe or at Serenson Academy.

In the case of writing a story using characters and settings created by a fellow FP writer, it's good manners to get permission first.

- The story must not be one already published to the web.

- No word limit.

- You have until July 1st to submit your entry. Once entries have been received and the deadline has been reached, a poll thread will be created and users will be given 2 weeks to cast votes for any number of entries. The poll will close in mid-July.

- The normal policy for properly tagged stories applies to stories submitted to this contest.

- An entrant may not submit more than one entry.

FORMAT GUIDELINES

- There will be no restrictions or requirements on font type or size -- just make sure your entry is readable.

- Headers (example below) should contain your username, your story title, the fandoms represented in your entry, a summary (long or short), and content tags. You may also add a field for review status, making it clear whether or not you want to receive reader feedback on your submission, and a field for word count, if you want to display the length of your entry for reader convenience.

Headers should be displayed outside (ideally above) story text enveloped with SPOILER code. If you're submitting your entry as an attachment, your header should be present in the message body of your post.

- Please enclose your text with the code or submit your entry as an attachment to ensure convenient readability and accessibility.

Summary: After calling Mihoshi "shit for brains", Washu sends the blonde Galaxy Police officer to a universe much different than their own. Unfortunately, Mihoshi is the accidental victim of a stray defecatus extractium spell. In a race against time, Hermione must come up with a proper spell to contain Mihoshi's massive amounts of waste matter before Hogwarts is overrun by Mihoshi's turds.
