The 6th Annual FP Story Contest Discussion Thread

The rules have been decided. Here are your rules for this year's contest:

I - All stories shall compete in a single category.

II - All stories shall observe a strict 15,000 word upper limit. No leeway, no exceptions.

III - All stories shall be submitted via PM to this year's overseer committee, andromeda, Elegant Egotist and Strawman. Make sure to PM your entries to ALL committee members. Stories have fallen through the cracks in previous contests.

IV - Author Anonymity shall be observed. In the interests of preserving author anonymity contestants MUST not post their entries anywhere on the internet until the contest is concluded. Once the contest concludes they do as they with their entries. Failure to observe this rule may result in disqualification.

V - Multiple voting shall be in place.

VI - Entries shall be released to the reading public as soon as they are received.

VII - The voting period shall be mid-December until mid-January. (nominally from the 16th to the 16th)

VIII - This contest is for original fiction only. No fanfiction or sequels are allowed. This also means that all entries must never have been published in any form.

IX - Each contestant is allowed one entry.

X - There are NO content restrictions.
