Johnny & Jackie

Story by ZeHell-ScythefanToo

Another one of my slightly older works, written on a whim I don't remember now (much like most of my writing, honestly. It just pops up in my head :P) not soon after Mandy's Doze... Must have been inspired. Enjoy!

"Whadaya think about that Amanda chick, huh?" Biff continued the round, a slightly pudgy teenager in an orange striped shirt; he tossed his card onto the stack, whereupon play went to the next person. "Nice rack, but keeps to herself."

"I dunno, Beef. I think Judy's a nice catch, but she's only on the in-crowd," Mark, a real slim 'n' shady, half-simpered, paying attention to the game on the table. "Draw four, Slick. Red."

"You always do dat to me, Markie," Nick, the tallest of everyone, shot a stare at Mark from under his baseball cap, grudgingly pulling the prescribed amount from the face-downs. "Me? I'd go all in for that Harley chick. She's got the back end for my front end, woo woot." Nick's eyes couldn't actually be seen with the cartoonish way he wore his cap, but there was no questioning whom he was currently looking at with the brim of his hat always keenly aligned to his subject. "So how 'bout you, Johnny? Got your eye on anyone... special?"

Johnny, the runt of the group, edged carefully on his seat in anticipation of this question; it wasn't that he disliked hearing these opinions, per se, as the thoughts of the girls from his school always provoked powerful male feelings about the developing girls in question - and that wasn't an undesirable side effect - but Johnathan always wondered when it was that point in life hit where girls became the whole world, where cooties faded to just a kid's game and the real stock in the opposite sex came from boobs and butts and... well, shapeliness! "I, ehrr, I don't know," he deftly answered, wishing, maybe, for a departure to the earlier days, where they played games just like this but talked about easier stuff - action figures, race cars, secret messages, hide 'n' seek spots... Johnathan and his three friends had known each other since kindergarten - well, with the exception of Nick, whom they'd all bonded with in second grade - and they were still practically inseparable, though Johnny knew there'd be a day when they all got real girlfriends and didn't have the time to spend together most days at Johnny's own parents' dining room table, since his house was closest to the schools. Johnny couldn't help but feel sad at the thought of that. "Brittany?" Just to supplement his bold proposition, he tossed a Skip onto the table, whereupon Biff rolled his eyes.

"Come on, man. She's way above your level," Biff put his cards back together, waiting for another 'round the table - or perhaps a Reverse from the blue, blue or not. "I'm thinkin' you're more of a... a Wendy, or a Patty type-a guy. You know, some woman only nice enough to date 'cuz she won't stand out. The homely type, you know."

"Hey, don't knock Johnny for havin' a dream. We've all had the dream once, I'm sure," Mark interjected, slapping down four more Draw 2s. "Draw eight, Slick."

Nick grumbled, taking his eight cards. "Yeah, yeah. You know, Johnny, I don't blame you one bit. I just wouldn't fight meathead Tony for a piece'a dat. None'a us would - well, Markie's crazy, but we's not exactly the most popular kids eva'."

"You ask me, I think little Johnny's into Jackie," Biff smirked, and Johnny flushed. "I mean, they's close enough."

"'Ey, knock it off, Beef. Always teasin' poor Johnny," Nick tipped his cap, flipping his card onto the pile for once this game.

"I mean, think about it. Johnny ain't seriously looking, and Jackie's got the figure," Biff continued, much to Johnny's chagrin. "Now--"

A very large belch stunned everyone in place, heads turning slowly to the kitchen archway from whence it came; as Biff had described, Jacqueline most certainly did have the figure - the hourglass curves, the filled-out chest, the hips and behind, the smooth, young, peach-shaded legs, an unforgettable face with a cute button of a nose and yet well-fleshed cheeks and prominent kissing lips, focused sapphire eyes that left no question as to their intelligent depth, and flaring, waving brunette hair that exploded into a cascade from her head to somewhere below her shoulders. Johnny watched as everyone drank in the invigorating sight of the woman before them,
