This is the 5th year that Futanari Palace will hold its annual Stories Contest. As this marks a milestone in the history of FP, we will be doing something different this year. First and foremost, there will be prizes this year! Secondly, the contest will have two major sections. The first section will be the Short Story competition and the Novella Competition.

The Short Story Competition will be the same as the story competition from past years, whereupon contestants contribute stories up to 5000 words to the competition.

The Novella competition will be for submissions from 6000-15000 words! :) Those authors who did not compete in the past because of the word count limits now have some of these constraints lifted.

As to the prizes for winning, we have yet another big announcement; Futanari Palace is now going to have its own e-magazine featuring stories for its readers! Think of it as "Reader's Digest for Futanari Lovers". The winner of the Novella and Short Story contest will be featured authors in the first issue of the Futanari Palace magazine!

That's right, the winners will be published authors. :D As a consolation prize to the second-place novella contestant and the second and third-place short stories contestants, they will also be published in the magazine.

As with prior years, all contestants get the spiffy contestant icon and the winners get the appropriate gold icons.

This is going to be a big contest! We are looking for authors to pull out all of the stops to help us make this new magazine work out. Even if one's story does not win the contest, authors can always submit it to our editors for the possibility of a later publication date.

There is now more incentive than ever to dust off those word processors and copies of Microsoft Word or OpenOffice and get writing! Anyone can be a winner!

5th Annual Futanari Palace Stories Contest Rules

The contest is open to all members of Futanari Palace. Previous writing experience is not required.

The Futanari Palace Story Contest Executive Committee is responsible for the presentation of the contest. The head of the Committee is Dxasmodeus. Committee members are Allykat, Senshi, Andromeda, beibdnn and Strawman. Any questions regarding the contest may be directed at any Committee member.

All submissions must be in English.

All submissions must be in the following formats; .DOC, .DOCX, .RTF.

Contestants are responsible for removing all metadata from the file prior to submission to ensure anonymity.

Fan fiction and prequels/sequels to existing stories are prohibited from entry. Any submissions that fall under fan fiction or are discovered to be prequels or sequels will be rejected.

One entry per contestant only.

Submissions for the short story portion of the contest must have a minimum of 1500 words and cannot exceed 5000 words, with a 500 word grace period exceeding 5000 words.

Submissions for the Novella portion of the contest must be a minimum of 6000 words and not exceed 15000 words with 1000 words past the maximum serving as a grace period for those submissions.

The Title Page must contain the following information: Name of Story, Author, the statement, "A Submission to the Futanari Palace 5th Annual Stories Contest.", Word Count. The submission will also list on the title page five (5) tags that best state the genres and fetishes in the submission.

Submissions sent by e-mail may be sent to dxasmodeus@gmail.com with the file attached. The e-mail header must read, " 5th Annual Futanari Palace Writing Contest Submission."

Submissions sent by PM cannot use any banned filehosting service to send the file.

Submissions must be received by 15 November 2015 for consideration and preparation for voting, beginning on 1 December 2015.

Submissions will be posted for voting by the Executive Committee by 5 December 2015. The names of the Authors will be removed from the submissions to ensure some modicum of fair voting. This gives popular authors healthy competition while giving new authors a fair chance at winning.

Voting will begin on 6 December 2015 and continue until 6 January 2016.

Winners will be selected from the popular vote by 15 January 2016 and notified within one week.

In the event of a tie, the Executive Committee will determine a winner.

Winners will have his or her stories revised and prepared for publication in the premier issue of the Futanari Palace magazine.

Winners will receive the gold Story Contest Winner award for his or her account. All non-winning contestants will receive the silver Story Contest Entrant award.
