The Shield Maidens

Story by Altamira_vbulletin4_import72293

This story is written at the request of Romanator0. My inspiration came from lots of pictures of warrior women, and since I am a collector of fine things, I have pictures I will share with each chapter.

The four Sisterhoods are bloodlines of warrior women who are actually descendants of four different goddesses that created the world. This story is about sex, love, more sex, more love, and what it means to be a Shield Maiden. A Shield Maiden is a member of one of the four Houses (Sisterhoods) whose duty is to protect the Matriarch, the futanari ruler of their country.

You can jump into the story now or you can go here to the thread where the whole idea started and learn tons about the world. I will supply a little information here as well.

The Prologue Prologue

In the beginning, there were four sisters, each with a different color of hair; The first of them was named Hotek, a woman of extraordinary beauty with hair as black as night. The second was Locke, with tresses of golden blonde that burned bright in the sunlight. Next, was Romek, a redhead with bright amber hair, that of hellfire. Then there was Castille, her mane of hair was as white as a winter's snow.

Each sister, like the colors of their hair, were different in temperament, but each shared something other than the same blood.

Ambition.

The Four Sisters sought to challenge the gods. And challenge them, they did.

It is not known how the four came upon the knowledge to challenge the gods themselves in their ultimate power, but it no longer matters. They managed to defeat the multitudes of divine powers that resided in heaven. Hotek, Locke, Romek, and Castille all achieved their life's ambition. Together, they ascended to godhood.

For thousands of years they recreated the world as they wanted it to be. The landscape was reshaped like clay, rivers suddenly formed out of nothing, and the world forever changed. The Four Sisters created four feminine creatures in their own image. One each.

They mated with their creations, and the resulting offspring became the first line of Matriarchs. The Matriarchs, just like their mothers and their mother goddesses, were born as hermaphrodites. It was then, after siring the first line of Matriarchs, did the gods leave the world.

Commanded to continue this process in order to keep the divine blood alive, the Matriarchs heeded the commandment of the gods. When their children reached adulthood, they followed through with their promise to the Four Sisters and mated with them.

The rest of humanity, having no divine blood in their veins, may never enact what is known as The Sacred Incest. All attempts result in unhealthy and malformed children. Only with the divine blood of two direct descendants of the gods - two hermaphrodites - may The Sacred Incest continue the divine blood.

The Matriarchs, children of the gods, rule humanity in four major cities, each named after their respective goddesses.

Chapter 1 – House Romek

Sisterhood of The Fire

“Lora.”

Fifteen years old, Lora too young to comprehend what was really going on. Not quite a child, and not exactly an adult, her young eyes would have roamed over the travesty of the throne room if it weren't for the blood covering her hands.

At first, her tears clouded her vision, but by the end of it, she had seen nothing but a fiery rage that her people were known for. Before her on the ground was a man struggling to breathe, one hand clutching his cut throat while the other feebly searched for a sword, anything nearby that might save his life. Despite his desperate search, he would still die.

At fifteen years old, Lora did not care. This man had tried to kill her and she did not know why, yet it no longer mattered. Lifting the man's own sword, Lora plunged it down into the man's chest to end his life. She was surprised to feel no remorse. She had never killed anything before, much less another human being.

“Lora.”

The young woman turned to find her Matriarch, the ruler of her people, standing next to her with a hand on her shoulder.

“You are a Shield Maiden now, Lora. I will need you before this is over.” There was no smile on the Matriarch's face. It was not a happy time.

“Matriarch! Look!”

The eldest of the Sisterhood of The Fire walked toward the window overlooking the city of Romek. Lora heard the Matriarch scream, her hands clutching the broken window. The sound of the Matriarch's cry was felt by each individual in the throne room.

The city of Romek was burni
