The Invasion of Granoa CYOA

Granoa itself was terraformed so masterfully by the Bio-Janti settlers that its bio-sphere was similar to that of earths. While it continues to lack the sheer evolved number of species as earth, the planet was home to a wide variety of climates. The Imperial Refugees brought with them scavenged technology, raw supplies and industrial and militaristic spirit so strong that Granoa boasted towering cities and strong planetary defensives in just a few short years. Since this time sexism in the Imperial Empire has been all but overcome, and while Granoans recognize this fact and trade regularly with their Imperial partners, men are still forbidden to walk on Granoas’ surface, barring a few very rare exceptions.

The Bio-Janti Granoans proved to be as wizardly at manipulating DNA codes and guiding controlled mutations as their forefathers. Granoas bio-diversity soon bloomed after colonization but the vast majority of Granoas’ inhabitants were Imperial born and demanded mechanical solutions to Granoas most obvious problem. While in the early years Granoa expanded by accepting new female refugees, a more permanent solution was required if Granoa was too continue to thrive and expand. So in the Amadian Isles, a region similar to Earths Caribbean, the Granoans built the first, and largest “Great Mother Wombs”.

These buildings were gigantic stadium shaped facilities where reproduction was carried out by Granoans. The Bio-Janti colonists perfected a method of reproduction where the genetic material in one female egg was extracted and used to impregnate another Granoan egg. The impregnated egg could then quickly be implanted in any Granoan where it would develop into a female baby. Yet as simple as this technique was, it never explained the size of the facilities or the gigantic central facility either. Granoans seeking children would travel on pilgrimage together to the Great Mother Wombs and to be serviced by the facilities care takers. Nearly all presently alive Granoans are born in this fashion.

The Great Mother womb has allowed the keepers to instill unique genetic mutations in Granoan DNA. Many Granoans develop unique Bio-Augments which assist them in a variety of activities. The mutations are triggered by stress over long periods of time but occur quickly once triggered. A secretary Granoan may develop an extra finger on each hand assist in typing while athletes may eventually mutate stronger muscles (There is a senior mutant league to most sports). A Firefighter may become resistant to heat over time, a diver may hold their breath for longer, a construction worker will be able to climb more swiftly, and these are all physical mutations, the number of brain bio-augments to allow Granoans to accomplish repeated tasks more effectivly is staggering. The Great Mother womb system, allows Granoans to control their planet wide DNA and they reap all the benefits of this scientific marvel.

Granoa found its place amongst all the worlds of the Galaxy. While many porn flicks held the premise of “crash landing on Granoa”, a popular joke. Granoans earned their place and the respect of their peers through victory in battle. The Granoan military was well regarded by any worthy strategist, it was always outfitted with high tech equipment, well trained, and focused on small elite ground teams pushing towards objectives. These teams were highly skilled and always well supported by mechanical divisions of the Granoan army which were much more numerous. The Granoans helped fend off the non-humanoid invasion of the Jackara. Jackara were a six legged insect race whom were once the size of small cars. The Granoans were credited with not only beating them back, but chasing the Jackara all the way to their home world which they subsequently imploded by drilling down past the planets crust and detona
