Internal 500 Error

for some reason i cannot edit posts or preview posts in the stories forum, i tried it in other places, but it seems like stories forum is the only place that does it >< I have numerous errors to fix in a posted story!

please help xD

Is it only one specific thread or the entire section?

Hmm the 500 error is usually if the server is busy and unable to process the php requests (i think). So if you were getting 500s, everyone would. The server was probably doing it's daily database backup, and when this is in progress, it's not uncommon to get intermittent 500 errors.

I can edit my thread post "Does sex make you a better writer?" as well as preview my post anywhere else, but for what ever reason I still can't edit my post for the story I linked... which still needs to be edited and added for new content ><

I can edit it fine, I suggest yuou clear your cache and if that doesnt work, clear your cookies, close and then reopen your browser, to see if it clears the fault

this is a curious situation it makes me wonder if it's just this you Crusadera or if others are getting this problem and simply not mentioning it...hmmm, perhaps we should have Nar look into this to see if this issue isn't bigger than what we can see of it??

After a bit of experimenting, it seems as though its coming up with the error because my post is extremely long, because its a story and all... soo yeah looks like that's the problem.

weird, that shouldn't be a problem: question is your story contained within a spoiler??

I mean at the very least it should only load slowly even if it is a long post o.o
