FP Donation Appreciation thread

Greetings all!



Due to the popularity of Futanari Palace and the amount of members we have and gain daily, it is now again, too much for our current server to handle. Like the previous two moves (February 2007/April 2007), our new server move will move us to bigger and better hardware.


But this all adds up and costs money; to date, FP has probably set me back in the region of about $1000 to run since it's birth in November 2006.


Due to the extreme costs in our anticipated server move, I'm thinking it's time I had help financially due to everyone else using this site as well as me! So I'm posting here to ask kindly if any members of our forums would wish to donate money to helping with our costs of a server move.


I'm sure you've all noticed FP can be a real dog sometimes; very slow, due to our popularity — our current hardware cannot really support us for much longer, hence this request now going out.


So if you'd like to help out and donate what you can ^_^ you can do it below

My aim is to try and get up to maybe around $500ish as our upgrade is a major one (dedicated server and new software all being pricy)


But remember, every little helps!

UPDATE:

We've hit our target so we are able to pay for new server hardware and software.

However, the monthly charge on this host is double what I was paying before (old: £23, new: £40)
So any donations are welcome as FP will still cost money to run each month!

I encourage everyone to chip in as well. Even if we each contribute $1, I think it would make life a lot easier for Shenandoah.

Hm... Actualy, I bet you could do commissions and try to raise funds that way ^^ I think I might just do that... Though I'm really not up to it... Flue is going around and I feel like bleh this morning...

you added specific user categories like writer and story teller etc. so why not giving everyone who payed a small symbol or anything to show at the board that he gave money?

That sounds like a great idea actually. I would do that. And maybe I will... actually, why not?

Every person (that asks for one) gets a commission for every 20$ donation? I would definitely be willing to do something like this.
